Course Information

Abstract

  • This course will give a first insight to audio signal processing techniques to solve major acoustic problems. This comprises i.e. techniques for the analysis of the acoustic environment and the optimization of audio reproduction systems to enhance the overall audio quality.

Objectives

    • Identify the main characteristics of audio waves
    • Measure/evaluate an audio signal strength, decay, and

    • Manipulate and analyze audio waves using Matlab
    • Apply and use some voice recognition algorithms
