CSEN 601 Computer System Architecture

Course Information

  •  It is an introduction to the concepts of computer architecture such as performance measurements, instruction set basics, pipelines, instruction level parallelism, memory hierarchy, and multithreaded/multiprocessors systems

  •  By the end of this class, the students should be able to :

    • describe how current processors work,
    • evaluate the architectural alternatives, and
    • conduct some elementary research in the field.
